Born in Manila, Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Homer and Bobbi Williams Johnson. She was of the Christian Faith, formerly attended Five Point Church of Easley, and held an AA from Pensacola Christian College. She was a devoted, wife, and loving mother who enjoyed helping others.

Surviving are her husband of the home, three sons, Noah Johnson of Ware Shoals, Asher Porter and Gabriel Porter, both of Springfield, MA, a daughter Eva Porter of Springfield, MA, a brother Derik Johnson ( Leigh) of Williamston, a sister Lori Johnson of Easley, and numerous nieces and nephews including Matthew Provo and Alexis Johnson.
