Born in Laurens S.C., she was a daughter of the late John Henry and Lucile Walker Cannon. She was a member of Hodges Church of God and retired from the Honea Path Shirt Plant. She was twice married, first to the late Franklin Brock.

Surviving are: a stepdaughter, Karen Fields of Honea Path; two sisters, Ruby Qualls of Greenwood and Roseanne (Jack) Gambrell of Honea Path; two grandchildren, Josh Bannister and Sara Freeman, both of Honea Path; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, December 23, 2024 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, Honea Path with Rev. James Ray Lollis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
