Born in Donalds, he was a son of the late Lewis Frank and Mamie Sue Haynes Gregory. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean War. He was a carpenter and was the former owner of B and B Tires of Ware Shoals.

Surviving are his wife, Nettie of the home, a son, Bobby Gregory, Jr. of Ware Shoals, a daughter, Karen Craine of Ware Shoals, a sister Jo Anne Bagwell of Ware Shoals, six grandchildren, Cheyenne Gregory, Katie Gregory, Eddie Craine, Jr., Katie Mashburn, Marty Crain, Jr.(Kimberely Ann), and Donna Marie Crain, fourteen great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Cam, Brandon, Jr., Levi, Hunter, Randy, Josh, Andrew, Thomas, Jonathan, Anthony, Kimberly, Chad, and Debra, and nine great-great-grandchildren, Renleigh, Leah, Alania, Eli, Averylyn, Rhodie, Auro, Jaxton, and Adalynn.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Crain, and a brother, Jimmy Ray Vaughn.

Funeral services with Military Honors will be held at 2 PM on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals, with Rev. Jimmy Lamb officiating.
