Born in Greenville he was a son of Robert Lee (Bobby) and Eva Dale Nelson Hendrix. He was of the Baptist Faith and was employed by C & R Paving of Waterloo.
Surviving are his parents of Greenwood, a brother, Andrew Hendrix of Greenville, a sister Angel Johnson of Ware Shoals, paternal grandmother, Sarah Bagwell of Ware Shoals and his maternal grandmother Betty Jean Nelson of Greenville.
A private family service will be held at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals and may be viewed online after 5 PM Tuesday.
