Ware Shoals - Herman Clemson “PeeWee” McGee Jr., 47, of Ware Shoals, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022.

Honea Path – Linda Rosemary McEntyre, 76, wife of Donald “Donnie” Ray McEntyre, of Pinetree Drive, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Hosea Evans and Violet Loudermilk Madden. She was a member of Austin Road Baptist Church and was retired from the United States Postal Service. Linda worked many years in the Scouting program on both the local and District level.

Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 57 years of the home are: three sons, Tracy McEntyre, Shawn McEntyre, and Brandon McEntyre; a sister, June Dukes; a granddaughter, Danielle (Candace) Allen; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. McEntyre was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Doris Massey.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, May 23, 2022 at Austin Road Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Monday at the church prior to the service. Williamston-Nancy Ruth Anderson Orr, 73, of McAlister Road, Williamston, widow of Doug Orr, died Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Honea Path – James William Strawhorn, 96, husband of Dorothy Eileen Kirby Strawhorn, of Princeton Hwy, died Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

Jerry Dean McGaha, 66, husband of the late Teresa McGaha, of Peach Orchard Drive, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Edna Joyce Todd Ovrick, 83, of Chamblee, GA, widow of Richard Lee Ovrick died peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
