Born in Abbeville County, he was the son of the late Jim Wesley and Ora Todd Fleming.  He was a member of Donalds Baptist Church and a veteran in the US Army (Korean War).

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are one son, Todd Fleming and wife Sheryl of Donalds; three grandchildren, Brian Fleming, Randy Burkhalter and Brandon Burkhalter; and one great-grandchild, Sylus Burkhalter. He was predeceased by four brothers, Judge, Pruitt, Buck and Bill Fleming and one sister, Mary Jane Fleming Brock.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Thursday at Donalds Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Sturkie and Rev. Richard Hendricks officiating.  Burial to follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Pruitt Funeral Home.
