Altha Wrenn

Waterloo – Altha Belle Pryor Wrenn, 80, widow of James Harold “Doc” Wrenn, of 523 Cannon Road, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late William and Eva Jane DeHart Pryor. She was a charter member of Shade Tree Revival Church.

Altha was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including, a special niece Altha Lothridge and a special nephew Ricky Wrenn both of Waterloo.

 In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son Joe Wrenn, a brother John William Pryor, and five sisters, Irene Wrenn, Frances Crowder, Pearl Gambrell, Mae Davenport, and Love Hughes.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Shade Tree Revival Church with Rev. Grady Lothridge officiating. Burial will follow in Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery.

The family is at the home of her nephew, Ricky Wrenn, 619 Cannon Rd in Waterloo, and will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Parker-White Funeral Home in Ware Shoals. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
