Surviving are his wife of Greenville, mother of Ware Shoals, four daughters; Amber Johnston, Jessica Johnston, Sarah Johnston and Shannon Nelson and husband Anthony all of Greenville, brother; Joseph Daniel Johnston and wife Christy of Honea Path, three sisters; Renee Johnston of Honea Path, Sheila Pearson and husband Donald of Ware Shoals and Sherry Knowlton and husband Ral of Donalds and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Timothy Wayne Johnston, Jr.
A memorial service will be held 3 PM Wednesday March 25, 2015 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Lowe, Rev. Byron Wood and Mr. Corey Reed officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Wednesday March 25 , 2015 at Parker-White Funeral Home prior to the service.
