Born in Lake Toxaway, N.C. to Seth Thomas and Pearl Moore Stallcup. Dot finished Honea Path High School, but lived most of her adult life in Savannah, Georgia where she worked as a legal secretary. Due to an automobile accident, Dot has lived at NHC of Anderson for the last four years. Our family is grateful for the excellent care, support, and love shown Dot by the nurses, nursing assistants, residents, and all staff at NHC.

The last member of her immediate family, Dot was predeceased by her parents; twin daughters, Deborah and Sheborah Herndon; a brother Virgil Stallcup; and four sisters, Thelma Stackhouse, Ruth Cox, Katherine Stallcup, and Betty Thompson. She is survived by many nieces nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, Honea Path,  with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Honea Path.
