Born in Travelers Rest, he was a son of the late Jewel Lester and Ella Daisy Goldsmith Holloway. He was a member of Belton Church of God and was a self employed brickmason.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: one son, Robert Chad Darby (Sabrina) of NC; one daughter, Danielle Rentz (Jason) of Honea Path; two brothers; two sisters and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 PM at Belton Church of God with Rev. Norman Black, Mr. Sammy McClain and Rev. Howard Steen officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-3 prior to the service at the church. Burial to follow in the
