Adam Payton

Belton – Adam Colby Payton, 23, of 535 Bill Kay Rd, died Saturday, July 19, 2014.

 

 

Born in Anderson County, he was the son of James Joel and Melissa “Lisa” Fleming Payton. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and employed with SAPA-Belton.

Adam was a member of The Boy Scouts of America and had attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He was an avid fisherman and golfer and loved having fun with his many friends and family.

Surviving in addition to his parents of the home are: his twin sister, Ashley Michelle Payton, also of the home, his paternal grandparents, Bobby and Lynne Payton of Belton, and his maternal grandfather, Johnny Fleming of Belton. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Mary Fleming.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Carroll Plemmons and Rev. Luther Price officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
