Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Milton and Annie Lou Cora Meeks Snipes. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and retired from Monsanto.

Surviving are: three sons, Wayne Medlin and wife Vickie of Fountain Inn, Ronald Medlin and wife Judy of Gray Court, and Ray Medlin and wife Mary of Fountain Inn, a daughter, Kay Roth of Joanna, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Donald Medlin, five brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery with Rev. Tommy Wooten officiating.

The family is at the home and will receive friends 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at Parker-White Funeral Home.The family wishes to extend its heartfelt appreciation to Sandy Jernigan for the loving care she has provided to Mrs. Medlin.
